This year we raised $4,307 in pledges and $790 in shirt fundraising! {Today, March 22, is the last day to get your performance shirt, which comes in Men’s, Women’s and Youth fit/sizes!} Thank you for showing up and showing so much love for our Warriors For Walt mission to provide financial support to nonprofits creating awareness, inclusion and opportunity for individuals with special needs and giving hope to families suffering the loss of their child.

And just like that, we are gearing up to award our $10,000 Warriors For Walt Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship! The deadline for all adults with Down syndrome to apply for a Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship to go towards the dream of attending higher education is April 17.

To celebrate Walt and every individual rockin’ a little extra on World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, we are taking the Ruby’s Rainbow 321 Pledge & selling Warriors For Walt performance shirts through CustomInk Fundraising. Proceeds will benefit the Warriors For Walt 321 Pledge to fund our Warriors For Walt $10,000 Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship.

The WALT Shirt started a revolution while our Walt The Warrior was in the hospital and after he became our warrior angel in heaven. In 2016, our Walt’s Warriors purchased over 400 shirts and raised more than $6,200 benefiting the Warriors For Walt Charitable Fund!
